The Charles was originally created by adjoining three adjacent historical houses, whilst maintaining the historical Georgian façade. Each room has an individual positioning and design, and the multi-leveled layout of the guesthouse is joined by inner and outer staircases.

The Lodge offers five African style, en-suite rooms with king size beds. Two of the rooms offer romantic four poster beds, and four have their own verandah.
